THIS CARRD IS OUTDATED! HOP ON OVER TO INNERLMNT.CARRD.CO!
Who the Heck?
Hi! Some basic information first.INNERLMNT (pronounced "inner element") is my online pseudonym — call me Arbs or Arbër! I'm 20 years old, Kosovo-Albanian, male, and my pronouns are he/him. Welcome to my Carrd! What I do is make fandom edits and music videos out of footage from animated shows for my own enjoyment. I then post them to Instagram and YouTube if I think you and I will like it. I've been making edits pretty often since 2015, and making YouTube videos since 2011 (after starting on an older channel named evolve330). I also do some graphic design. All of these are things I do on my free time as a university student!
What the Heck Do I Do?
‣ I run the Discord server the Captain's Dinghy, a community rallied around the HBO Max show Our Flag Means Death and other miscellaneous pirate media such as Sea of Thieves, Monkey Island and Pirates of the Caribbean!‣ I'm one of the editors for Real-Time Fandub (created by Charley Marlowe, the Captain of the aforementioned server) since 2016, alongside helping out with closed captions, graphic design, logo spoofing, editing and mixing the intros of various shows (see those here), and helping run the show's social media by creating promotional material. I also host the dedicated Driftwood Saga Carrd for our series of pirate-themed dubs (which you should totally watch, we think you'll like those).‣ I came in as a guest editor to put together the final installment of Universe Falls, which involved sound design, keyframing, background cleanup and lighting. I also provided captions.‣ I edited a couple of fun videos for my friend PhoenAstra, including gameplay highlights and a vlog.‣ I'm an active administrator on Real-Time Fandub Wiki and Inside Job Wiki, where I am involved with designing the look and feel of the UI and keeping articles together.
The Name
INNERLMNT is the phrase "inner element", but without the vowels on the second word. That is how it's pronounced. Here is Ellie Spectacular saying my name correctly:
I've been told that the name looks and sounds like "inner lament", and even jacksfilms himself pronounced it as "inner L-M-N-T", however I won't correct you if you get it wrong. But if you're not me, you can refer people to this page.
How are "Arbs" and "Arbër" pronounced? Use your gut, I believe in you!

Human Rights Rabbit Hole
The world is kinda really fucking unfair, but we're all here on the same floating spinning rock in space, so we might as well help each-other out!Below is a short list of Carrd resources you can use to find links to help people who aren't really fortunate right now, or to educate yourself on things like systemic racism, war, protests, mental health, trans rights, climate change, etc. A lot of these links have donation pages so you can positively contribute! Learn about things from the people most affected by them, and get a starting point so you can be a positive change to the world. It should probably go without saying but the stuff here gets pretty heavy. Take care of yourself first if you aren't really able to help, otherwise press any link at your own risk. Also — change doesn't happen ONLY with Carrds. Do things for your community beyond just being informed. Stand up for your fellow humans in the face of oppression!
NOTE: The information in the links below is at the discretion of the people managing them, not myself. I have no control over the contents of those links. This obviously doesn't represent all world issues, and certainly not from an impartial perspective. However, if there's something I'm missing that I should add, or if any of these links are harmful, my DMs are open so let me know and I'll get back to you! On another note, I am not an activist, therefore I cannot sit here and say I'm doing the same thing people are doing in the streets.
Software
The main editing software for all my edits is Magix Vegas Pro (formerly Sony Vegas Pro) which I've used since 2016. Currently on the 15.0 version. As for plug-ins, I continue to use Red Giant Universe, BorisFX Sapphire, and BorisFX Continuum Complete.I use Alight Motion from Alight Creative for a lot of my motion graphics and thumbnails (the logo for this channel was made on this app). It is a very trustworthy piece of software, despite its slight bugs, and I would recommend it to anyone who does motion graphics in their pocket.I may use Adobe After Effects, but very rarely because my computer is garbage, barely handles Adobe products and I need a new one.

Alternate Channel
I run another channel additional to INNERLMNT named Hot Garbage, where I post what's on the tin — hot garbage like memes and clips from other channels, and my experimental YTPs. It popped off once a remix of Tom Scott's iconic "xnopyt" moment went viral on Twitter thanks to Game Maker's Toolkit. At the moment it's got more of an audience than my main channel, so yeah. If you want to check it out, feel free to do so!
Real-Time Fandub Title Spoofs
Logos
My various work on Real-Time Fandub includes designing the logos of the properties dubbed in the show with its own name, and animating them into their intros. Not all of these are my own logos, but all of these were animated by me.
Editing Reel
You can watch the logos in action, as well as a lot of the visual and auditory work I've put into the show's highlight videos from 2016 to 2021.
Real-Time Fandub is a web series created by Charley Marlowe. You can watch it on their YouTube channel here.
Thumbnail work
I make thumbnails for YouTube videos with an eye for composition and layout. The tools I've used to create them are largely (but not exclusively) mobile, including: Alight Motion, PixelLab, Glitch Lab, Snapseed, and Picsart. Desktop tools which I rarely use include GIMP and Adobe Photoshop.
The Eras
How nice! You wanna know how the hell I got to this point in time and space! I hope my backstory is enjoyable for you all.Since my video hobby began in mid-2011, I went through multiple different phases. Here's a (non-exhaustive) rundown of what they are.
arberlezi
2011 - 2013At this point I was solely making videos for experimentation on Windows Movie Maker, editing random intros and promos together with different music. I had an ongoing super niche series that kept people updated on the Cartoon Network feed I had on cable (titled "Cartoon Network Toon News Europe", ripped from LewToons). This was retired after a few months and almost all records of it are lost to time, but it was my first experience writing real scripts for videos.

Era 1
2013-2014
I discover Gravity Falls at this point thanks to a video by LewToons which had the show's opening theme in it and enticed me. I made some half-baked and poor quality reviews of some shows I watched, and then went all in on Gravity Falls as a fan. I became a member of the fan club known as The Royal Order of the Holy Mackerel (named after the lodge society in the show), and got super involved in the fandom through the show's wiki, but didn't get a sizeable presence online yet. I don't expect anybody to be proud of the videos I made then but I was a child learning English! Anyone would be embarrassed lol
Era 2
2014-2015
I have been gifted my first iPhone (second ever smartphone; my first was a Nokia C6) and so I make an Instagram account in May 2014. I get really in tune with the Gravity Falls fandom on Instagram and befriended a lot of people in it! I still remember the people who first followed then. During this time, I made free avatar requests where I would make avatars in the style of the Gravity Falls title card. I started making picture edits and then made videos on iMovie to post on YouTube.
Era 3
2015
Probably my busiest (and most controversial) year as a content creator. I started making fandom edits and posting them primarily to Instagram, which people liked a lot! This was still on my phone, armed with only iMovie and whatever apps I could use as supplements (including but not limited to: Cute Cut, Magisto (frm. GameYourVideo), PicsArt, and others).Around this year (the history isn't very clear around how we met), I first appeared on the YouTube channel of Charley Marlowe (then going by PopeLickVA) for our birthday which is on March 17th. We were on a livestream together with Steven Grimes and read the infamous My Immortal fanfiction story together. It was real fun.I befriended this guy who followed me and had a channel named UniversalNewsShow and sadly got in a petty harassment campaign against Vailskibum94 (notable cartoon YouTuber, who led the fandom as a Gravity Falls theory discussion channel). [Spoilers for big plot twist in GF, select to reveal text] Our claim was that he stole and was pushing a "bad" Gravity Falls theory that postulates Grunkle Stan had a secret twin brother. He didn't steal it, the theory was solid, and it turned out to be true as it was the biggest plot twist of the series. A big amount of people rallied around the campaign, and in retrospect, this was a big mistake which I was made fun of a lot and regret immensely.Later on, I went on to run the fandom event Fallerversary 2015 with Gabrielle Norte (Cahuilla filmmaker, formerly a Gravity Falls YouTuber by the name of "justafallerthing"). The event commemorated GF's third anniversary, and while the concept was there it could've gone a lot better. Oop.I took fandom editing seriously (posting the most amount of edits I've ever posted in my career) and started hosting multi-editor projects (MEP) with fellow editors on YouTube and Instagram. Tried to launch a Steven Universe account named "Steven Universe Unanswered" which failed big time later down the line. Later I took part in the Steven Universe Hiatus Fan Project, a big cover and animation group video involving over 50+ people (including McKenzie Atwood and later friend of mine Ella Cesari of "awkwardgravityfallsscreencaps" fame). I sang quite well I guess.
Era 4
2016
Made my first collab video project with Yasmine Chase (TheKawaiifan) ahead of the Gravity Falls finale, each of us making a video named "#TEAMPINES" and "#TEAMCIPHER". Got featured on Jacksfilms's series YIAY for the first time, if you care about that. Most of the year was spent in the five stages of grief as Gravity Falls wrapped up. I applied to a bunch of MEPs and edited a bit.In June 2016, my friend Charley from earlier invited me to a Skype group chat and asked me if I wanted to hang out in a livestream for Gravity Falls's anniversary, where they would improvise the entirety of three episodes of the show unrehearsed and from memory. I couldn't join but I was able to make a title card for them in the show's style. I got to know Ella and Charley a little bit more, met Penny Parker of SnapCube fame, Ryan "Chongo" Mitchum, Sara Sarnicki of "dirtygfconfessions" fame, Shelby "Shelbeanie" Sessler, GhostAnjo. This would later become Real-Time Fandub, the improvised voice acting game and web series (5 years strong!) which would overdub and create a new narrative on beloved animated and live-action series, and movies (later video games with SnapCube's Real-Time Fandub).
Crypto, NFTs and the Like
TL;DR: Fuck cryptocurrency, fuck NFTs, and fuck anyone who is involved with them. You do not have any consent to involve me in any project that has to do with the blockchain. My thoughts on cryptocurrency, non-fungible tokens, and anything that's related to the blockchain are pretty clear. It is peer-to-peer technology that is being used for awful purposes, creating redundancies in programmed calculation, causing mass worldwide shortages of computer parts that are being used on servers that essentially calculate fake ledgers, and offsetting any progress that mankind had to survive against climate change.Non-fungible tokens, specifically, are a tool meant to verify ownership but are only being used for art and music theft, impersonation (see: QinniArt), Ponzi schemes, and just giving rich assholes a bigger avenue to be rich and curse people over on things that should be free or don't need the blockchain to be valid.I will continue to be vehemently against blockchain-reliant technology and whatever the hell people are calling "Web3", and will call you out if you are a friend and have a ".eth" on your Twitter display name.
